He was predeceased by: his parents, Everett Jacobs and Maude Jacobs; his son Carl; his siblings, Reg, Jack, Grayson, Frank, Fred and Audrey; and his grandson Brad Hayden.
He is survived by: his former wife Melvina Noftle of Mulleys Cove; his children, Yvonne (Michael), Cheryl (Vince), Brad (Denise) and Shawn (Jackie); the mother of his children Melvina; his brother Jim (Violet); his stepchildren, Brenda (Matt) and Bryan (Susan); his grandchildren, Lloyd (Katie), Mark (Chantelle), Everett (Kim), Jill (Tobias), Ben (Allie), Allison, Carlie and Neal; his stepgrandchildren, Robyn, Nicholas, Danielle, Liam and Camille; and his great grandchildren, Landon, Kendra, Landen (Alberta), Hayden, Lexie, Mai, Belle, Sophia, Alba and Ellis. He is also survived by nephews and nieces.
