Amelia Sparkes Obituary

We are sad to announce that on July 22, 2025, Amelia Sparkes (Old Perlican, Newfoundland) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Lloyd; her parents, Stanley Pike and Margaret Pike; and her brothers, Eldred and Clarence.

She is survived by: her children, Melanie (Greg) and Donnie (Heather); her grandchildren, Ryan (Sara) and Katelynn (Devin); her sisters, Phyllis, Olive, Marjorie and Jean; and her sisters-in-law, Isabel, Sandra, Lorraine and Catherine. She is also survived by friends and further extended family.

Visitation will be held on Friday, July 25th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Hopkins' Funeral Home.
