David Martin Obituary

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of David Martin (Old Perlican, Newfoundland), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 27, 2025. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Enoch and Jessie Maude Martin; and his father-in-law Billy Pryor. He is survived by: his wife Linda; his daughters, Stephanie Barrett (Brent) and Cherie King (Dave); his grandchildren, Bethany King, Rachel Barrett and Cameron Barrett; his stepgrandchildren, Addison and Lucas Williams; his mother-in-law Shirley Pryor; his sisters-in-law, Wanda Riggs (Jeffery), Cheryl Oliver and Bev Delany (Joe); his extended family, Ronnie Walsh, Jeffery Riggs, Melvin Coish, Karl Coish and Mic Noonan; his siblings, Tony Martin (Maxine), Helen Petrimoulx (Pete), Paul Martin, Sherry Cousineau, Diane Code and Sharon Wessel; his parents, Martha Martin and Doug Martin; his brother Jim Martin; Ian Barrett.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 30th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 9:00 PM and on Friday, October 31st 2025 from 2:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Hopkins' Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 1st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the St. Barnabas Anglican Church.
