She was predeceased by: her husband Bill; her son Dale; her parents, Pearl and William; her parents-in-law, Elizabeth and William; and her siblings, Caroline, Margaret, Percy, Ross, Rufus and Jerry.

She is survived by: her daughter Carolyn; her granddaughter Katie (Jordan); her siblings, Eileen, Linda (Henry), Jocelyn (Junior), Sheila and Clarence (Patsy); her siblings-in-law, Linda (Bill), Alma (Phil), Violet, Maxine, Verna, Elizabeth, Edith, Shirley, Gerry (Mary) and Bill Stezyn; and her close friends, Ann McHugh, Rachel Darrigan and Millie King. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many friends.
