With heavy hearts, we announce the death of William Tex Janes (Paradise, Newfoundland), who passed away on January 31, 2021. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his wife Barb; his parents, Harold Janes and Janet Janes; and his grandson David Joseph Harris. He is survived by : his children, Dos Keough (Tracy), Ches Janes (Carolyn), Rose Janes (Dave), Tex Janes Jr. and Andy Janes (Stephanie); his grandchildren, Robyn Gabriel (Zak), Tyler Janes (Jessica), Amy Janes (Diego), Jenna Harris, Aiden and Emma; his great grandchild Kiana Gabriel; and his siblings, Harold (Wanda), Debby Collins (Don), Randy (Brenda) and Jenny Ryan (Ray Lannon). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family and very dear friends.

A funeral service was held on Thursday, February 4th 2021 at 10:00 AM at the Holy Innocents Church (297 Paradise Rd, Paradise, NL A1L2V5). Due to Covid restrictions the family has decided to not have visitation at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to the Janeway Children's Foundation in Tex's name.
