It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rex Freeman Parsons of Parsons Pond, Newfoundland, who passed away on June 26, 2025, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his wife Jean Parsons; his son Harvey Hodder; his son-in-law Harry Hutchings; his parents, Eldrick Parsons and Gladys Parsons; and his parents-in-law, Arthur and Opal Payne.
He is survived by: his children, Randy Parsons, Stanley Hatcher, Ada Hutchings, Charles Hodder (Lori) and Brenda Kelly; and his sisters, Edna Wentzell and Josie Walters. He is also survived by siblings, brothers and sisters in laws.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, June 29th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Anglican Church. A funeral service will be held on Monday, June 30th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
