It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of George Blackwood of Pasadena, Newfoundland, who passed away on June 1, 2021, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his daughter Pauline Blackwood; and his parents, Richard Blackwood and Elise Blackwood. He is survived by : his children, Richard Blackwood (Fran) of Pasadena and Patricia Seaward (Bern) of Corner Brook; his grandchildren, Tracey, Darren, Bradley, Kelly, John and Scott; his great grandchildren, Sarah, Anna, Lucy, Jessica, Samantha, Brendan, Rachael, Elizabeth, Scarlett and Stella; and his sister-in-law Marrion Blackwood of Corner Brook. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

As expressions of sympathy, donations can be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association.
