He was predeceased by: his wife Jessie Priscilla Wight; his parents, Harvey Wight and Marigold Wight; his siblings, Dinah Langdon, Claude Wight, Victor Wight, Robert Wight (Bob), Junior Wight, Don Wight and Wayne Wight; and his siblings-in-law, Jimmy Raymond, Ray Langdon, Jim Langdon, Guy Langdon, Hattie Wight (Tiff) and David Carter.
He is survived by: his children, Gerald Jr., Joy Seaward (Ken), Mary Lou Clarke (Phil), Wade (Laurie) and Rob (Wanda); his grandchildren, Trina (Stephen), Andrea (Sandy), Danny (Melanie), Jeffrey (Melissa), Amanda (Joey), Sheldon, Corey (Jennifer), Jessica (Gordie) and Robin (Josh); his great grandchildren, Joey, Emily, Melody, Hannah, Isaac, Ethan, Ava, Merick, Harrison, Evelyn, Archer, Brielle, Blake, Charlie and Meredith; his sisters, Maxine Carter, Myra Floros (Jim), Linda Wight and Bonnie Raymond; and his siblings-in-law, Lena Wight, Betty Wight, Sandra Wight, Francine Wight, Elizabeth Wight, Vivian Andrews and Ivan Langdon. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends.
