He was predeceased by : his wife Edith; his son Hector; his parents, Alfred and Margaret; and his siblings, Annie, Dulcie, Audrey, Ruby and Hector.

He is survived by : his children, Lloyd (Beverley) and Beverly; his grandchildren, Chantelle, Harris (Robin), Matthew (Jessica) and Justin (Allie); his great grandchildren, Seth, Camden, Noah and William; and his siblings, Cecil (Shirley) and Jean (Francis).

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Society.
