With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Bernice Lillian Blake of Peterview, Newfoundland, who passed away on July 6, 2023 at the age of 74. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Clifford Budgell and Viola Budgell; her aunt Madeline Blake; her sister Frances Blake; her brothers-in-law, Bond Blake and Gerald Chaulk; her siblings, Marge Blake, Alma Blake and Winston Budgell; her sisters-in-law, Maxine Budgell and Dorothy Stuckless; her brother Gord Budgell; her parents-in-law, Flossie Blake, Bert and Clifford Budgell; and her siblings-in-law, Ann Chaulk and Tom Blake.

She is survived by: her husband John; her children, Edward (Angela), Cathy, Steve (Anita), Gerald, Patrinna (Gerald) and Perry (Christina); her grandchildren, Nathan, Kathleen, Brianna, Emily, Noah and Claire; her great grandchild Kirk; her siblings, Barb Blake (Neil), Marlie (Roy), Les, Kenneth (Florence), Ivan (Barb), Gilbert and Dennis; and her parents-in-law, Andrew, Mary Sheppard, Jim and Vandy Blake.
