He was predeceased by: his parents, Ruben Hibbs and Agnes Hibbs. He is survived by: his wife Mable; his children, Eli Jr. (Elimay), Derrick (Monica), Raymond (Ann), Michael (Paula), Fronie (Harley), Pauline (John), Serena (Sidney), Josephine (Mike) and Joanne (Jerry); and his siblings, Marjorie, Mazie, Triffinea, Aubrey and Clarence. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren, 4 step-grandchildren.
