He was loved and cherished by many people including : his mothers, Elizabeth Clarke and Margaret Chafe; his children, Karen (Jimmy), Barry (Viola), Dale (Boyd), Sandra (Jeff), Bobby (Elizabeth) and Gwen (Paul); his great grandchild Jaina; his siblings, Robert, Stephen (Marie), Marie (Maurice), Mabella (Chris) and Betty (Eric); his parents-in-law, Cora, Marion, Rose (Bill), Minnie and Bernadine; and also, Ashley (Paul), Shane (Mark), Curtis (Janessa), Krista, Brittany, Noah, Benjamin, Joshua and Hope.
Flowers and plants are graciously accepted, or donations in Dad's memory may be made to the Lung Association and the Kidney Foundation (Newfoundland Chapter).
