He is survived by: his wife Sheila; his children, Adam (Ashley) and Hilary; his pet Charlie; his siblings, Roland Whitten (Olga), Maxine Whitten, Randy Whitten (Brenda), Dorcas Layden (John), Chris Whitten (Mabella), Cyril Whitten (Jeanette), Wade Whitten (Connie), Curtis Whitten (Jackie), Glenn Whitten (Pam) and Ross Whitten; his sisters-in-law, Beverley Murphy (Gerald), Regina Vivian (Robin), Ann and Lori Whitten; his close friend Rex Carter; his friends, Gladys, Nat Hutchings, Agnes, Ann Chaplin, Linda Carter and Marg Chafe; his nephew Danny Layden (Tina); and also, Shane Clements, Michael Hutchings and Chris Carter. He is also survived by extended family and beloved friends.
