Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Rita O'Brien (Petty Harbour, Newfoundland), who passed away at the age of 77, on February 11, 2022. She was predeceased by : her parents, James Hearn and Mary Hearn of Petty Harbour; her brothers, Andrew, Ned, Peter and Jose; the father of her children Bud O'Brien; her mother-in-law Winnie O'Brien of Witless Bay; and her siblings-in-law, Neil O'Brien and Brenda O'Brien.
She is survived by : her sons, Arthur (Juanita) and Danny O'Brien; her grandchildren, Martin, Andrew, Aiden, James, Grace, Ben and Sam; her daughters-in-law, Robyn Squires, Debbie Carey and Jennifer O'Brien (Jacqueline Brazil); her siblings, Jim Hearn (Bessie), Donna Sparkes (Lance), Al Hearn (Melly) and Jane Doyle (Francis); her parents-in-law, Gerald O'Brien (Pat) and Janet O'Brien; and her friend Irish. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Due to COVID-19 restrictions the service is by invitation only.
