It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Gerard McCarthy (Placentia, Newfoundland), who passed away on April 25, 2024, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Bernard and Monica; and his brothers, McDermott, Vincent and Raymond (Eunice).

He is survived by : his children, Corey (Anna) and Vanessa (Ray); the mother of his children Rita; his grandchildren, Courtney, Christian, Avery, Madelaine, Michaela and Conor; and his siblings, Rosemary (Duncan), Bernard, Francis, John (Yvonne), Donna and Donald. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins.

Visitation was held on Monday, April 29th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM.
