He was predeceased by: his parents, Michael Collins and Ellen Collins; his sons, Steve and Mark; and his sister Eileen.
He is survived by: his wife Madonna (White); his son Gerard (Dana); his grandchildren, Hayley, Noah and Dylan; his brother Gordon (Betty); and his brother-in-law Brian (Pearl). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, extended family, and close friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 3rd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM. A funeral service will be held on Friday, July 4th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Maher's Funeral Home (11 Veteran's Way, Placentia, NL A0B2Y0). The inurnment will be held on Friday, July 4th 2025 at the Dermot McGettigan Memorial Cemetery.
