She was predeceased by: her parents, Maurice Best and Margaret Best; her parents-in-law, Robert and Margaret Ryan; her husband Ralph Ryan; her siblings, Joan Hickey and Rick Best; and her nephews, Corey Pirotta and Samuel Clements.
She is survived by: her siblings, Leo Best, Rupert (Helen), Gord (Wendy), Carolann (Shawn) and Randy (Pam); her siblings-in-law, Blanche Best, Rita Best, Clara Riggs, Teresa Best, Norm Ryan, Bill Hickey and Mike Ryan; and her close friends, Berta Greening, Bernadette Best, Beverley Green and Annette Parsons. She is also survived by her children and grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Monday, July 21st 2025 from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM, on Tuesday, July 22nd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Christ the King Church (16 Bayview Dr, Little Harbour East, NL A0B3H0). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, July 23rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
