He was predeceased by: his parents, David Marsh and Rosie Marsh; his sister Bretta Brown; and his brothers-in-law, Cliff Feener and Mac Brown.

He is survived by: his wife Kay; his son Stephen (Marlana); his grandchildren, Leah and Halle; his siblings' children, Todd (Penny) and Jennifer (Kenneth); and his siblings, Mina Boyd (Otto), Hazel Feener, Veronica Rowsell (Roger), Debbie Thompson (Wayde), Alverda Dark (Ernie), Georgina Hillier (Varrick) and Christine Smith (Allan). He is also survived by nephews, relatives and friends.

Visitation was held on Friday, July 4th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at 203 Main St, Point Leamington, NL A0H1Z0. A funeral service was held on Saturday, July 5th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location.
