She was predeceased by: her husband Harry; her parents, Baxter Burry and Annie Burry; her siblings, Frank Burry, Samuel Burry (Laura), Peter Burry, Marguerite Giles (Fred) and Neta Woodland (Samuel); and her children-in-law, Cyril Collins and Eileen Gibbons.

She is survived by: her children, Ruth Collins (Wilfred Sheppard), Sheila Sheppard (Albert), Frank Granter (Marlene), Clyde Granter (Wendy) and Vaughn Granter (Michelle Byrne); her grandchildren, Kimberly Collins (Matthew Fuchs), Krista Collins, Mark Sheppard (Tanya), Nicole Boland (Travis), Nicholas Granter (Jane), Mackenzie Granter, Tristan Byrne (Chantel) and Taylor Byrne; her great grandchildren, Grace, Sophia, Adair, Abraham, Esther, Leo and Henry; and her sisters-in-law, Trixie White (Don) and Jennie Burry. She is also survived by nieces, nephews and many friends.

As an expression of sympathy and in lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Barbara's memory to St. James Anglican Cemetery Fund, Pool's Island.
