It is always difficult saying goodbye to someone we love and cherish. Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Rodney Langmead of Pouch Cove, Newfoundland, who passed away at the age of 59, on February 7, 2026. He was predeceased by: his parents, Effie Langmead and Clarence Langmead; and his aunts and uncles, Jim, Harry, Val Butler, Fred Lax, Ralph Sullivan, Hayward Chislett, Blanche Lax, Gladys Chislett, Shirley Langmead and Joan Sullivan.

He is survived by: his siblings, Linda Barnes (Bob) and Boyd (Petra); his nephew Sasha; his niece Jacqueline (Georg); his great-niece Marie; his great-nephew Simon Doneaur; and his children, Caroline, Gabrielle, Nicholas Thomas and Dr. Chaker Hobeika. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
