He was predeceased by: his parents, Guy Stagg and Violet Stagg; his parents-in-law, Robert and Tamar Cutler; his brother Ernest Stagg; and his siblings-in-law, William Cutler, Clayton Cutler and Mary Rogers.

He is survived by: his wife Susan Stagg; his son Christopher Stagg of St. John's; his sisters, Audrey Cutler (Clifford) of Wareham and Hazel Welcher (Robert) of Valleyfield; and his siblings-in-law, Louise Cutler of Wareham, Maxine Stagg of Cape Freels, Ellen Cutler of Wareham and Lemuel Pickett of Ontario.

A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, November 4th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Kittiwake Funeral Home.

As an expression of sympathy and in lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to the Stagg Family who will decide on monetary disbursements at a later date.
