James Arthur Cox Obituary

We announce the death of James Arthur Cox (Pound Cove, Newfoundland), who passed away on July 22, 2026, at the age of 79. James Arthur will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his parents, Marjorie (Gerald) and Lewis (Rae); and his brother Robert (Marlene). He is survived by: his wife Frances; his sons, Robert (Cherie) and Roy; his grandchildren, James (Jessica), Jory (Wendy) of Pop's Princess, Janelle (Michael), Krystin, Cameron (Olivia) and Zachary; his great grandchildren, Lexi, CJ (Cyril James), Bodhi, Ty, Remi and Theo; and his niece Betty Lou (Leonard).

In lieu of flowers, donations to one of Jim's biggest passions, the St. John Anglican Cemetery would be greatly appreciated.
