Ronald James Bungay Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ronald James Bungay of Pound Cove, Newfoundland, who passed away on May 1, 2025, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his granddaughter Trudy-Lynn Gill; his parents, Jim and Louisa; his parents-in-law, Chris and Annie Sturge; his siblings, Ben and Lorraine Hall; and his brothers-in-law, Walter Hall and Joe Stokes.

He is survived by: his wife Mona; his children, Louisa Gill (John) and Scott (Elaine); his grandchildren, Terry Gill (Danielle), Olivia Bungay and Nicholas Bungay; his great grandchildren, Abigail, Sebastian and Maelynn; his siblings-in-law, Sophie Stokes, Juanita Bragg (Mike), Daisy Bungay and Cecil Sturge (Susie); his sibling's children, Gordon Hall, Jessica Bartlett and Christopher Bragg; and his caregiver Dr. Randy Hart.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Canadian Cancer Society or a charity of one's choice in Ron's memory.
