Effie Dominie Obituary

With sadness, we share the passing of Effie Dominie (Ramea, Newfoundland). Effie, born on September 4, 1937, passed away on August 3, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Henry Dominie; her parents, Simeon Barter and Victoria Barter; her parents-in-law, James and Martha Dominie; her brothers, Simeon and John Barter; and her brothers-in-law, James Coley, Frederick Banks and Henry Morgan.

She is survived by: her children, Clyde (Connie), Roger (Glenda) and Monica (Scott); her grandchildren, Paul (Stephanie), Heather (Justin), Lisa (Mackenzie) and Megan (Jordan); her great grandchildren, Aubree and Adalyn; her siblings, Frances, Elizabeth, Ada (Malcolm) and George; and her sisters-in-law, Maisie Barter and Audrey Barter. She is also survived by relatives and friends.
