He was predeceased by: his parents, Joan Philpott and Patrick Philpott; his siblings, Margaret, Regina and Kevin; Patrick Quinlan, Jack, Marilynn Hunt, Junior Jones, Marie Quinlan, Charlie Puddicombe and Gertrude Critch.
He is survived by: his significant other Denise; his children, Kayla (Michael), Hollie (Christopher) and Cory (Jeannie); his grandchildren, Blake, Peyton, Abigail, William, Logan and Emma; his siblings, John (Jo), Joan (Gerry), Marie, Diane and Cindy; his sister-in-law Lynn; and his friends, Leo, Agnes Butler, Rhonda, Seldon Nelson, Terry, Rose Daley, Joe and Rosa Mazza.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 9th 2026 from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM, on Saturday, January 10th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Barrett's Funeral Homes - St. John's (328 Hamilton Ave, St. John's, NL A1E1J9). A funeral service was held on Monday, January 12th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the St. Theresa's Parish.
