She was predeceased by : her husband James; her sons, Arthur and David; her parents, Arthur Shears and Georgina Shears; her brothers, Albert and Boyd; and her siblings-in-law, Max and June.

She is survived by : her daughter Diane (Norm); her daughter-in-law Emma; her grandchildren, Jason (Denise), Blaine (Melanie), Jodi, Christine (Grant) and Alesia; her great grandchildren, David (Sue), Falon (Shane), Jamie, Leslie, Christian, Jacob, Joey, Scotty, Jackson, Maxwell and Brady; her great great grandchildren, Shiane, James, Mason and Heidi; and her close friend Mary Kitchen. She is also survived by nieces, nephews other family and friends.

As expressions of sympathy flowers are graciously accepted or donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Society or St. George's Anglican Church Memorial Fund.
