It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Benjamin Theodore Shears (Rocky Harbour, Newfoundland), who passed away on October 26, 2018, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by : his parents, Dorcas May and James Shears; his siblings, James, John, Mary Loveys and Joan White; his father-in-law Thomas Watts; and his siblings-in-law, Rendell Snow, Jack White, Alwin Loveys and Betty Shears.
He is survived by : his daughter Dorcas; his son-in-law Valeri Chudinov; his mother-in-law Blanche Watts; his siblings, Pauline Payne, Floyd (Olga), Tom (Bonnie) and Ella Penney (Frank); his siblings-in-law, Blanche Shears, Marie Shears, Sandra Bull (John), David Watts (Sharon), Rod Watts (Gladys) and Robert Watts (Mary); and his pet Maggie.
As expressions of sympathy flowers will be accepted or donations may be made to St. Matthews Church Building Fund.
