He is survived by: his wife Leona Payne; his children, Angie (Cory Slaney) of Torbay, NL and Alan (Maxine) of Acton, Ontario.; his grandchildren, Jack, Sophie Slaney and Dylan Payne; his siblings, Tom (Marie) of Rocky Harbour, Harry (Christine), Jeanette Reid (Bim) of Fort McMurray, Alberta and Curtis (Sandra) of Gander; and his brother-in-law Roy Payne (Alberta) of Slave Lake.
