He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Payne and Ruby Payne; and his siblings, Phoebe Brake, Debbie Payne-Carr (Brian), Max Payne (Wanda) and Amador Payne.
He is survived by: his children, Everett Payne (Lacey) and Trudi Gillam (Deon). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other extended family.
In lieu of flowers donations in Leonard's memory can be made to the Salvation Army, Deer Lake.
