He was predeceased by : his parents, Edmund Walsh and Rita Foley; his stepfather Michael Foley; his siblings, Jim (late Rosaleen), Ed (late Marie), Joe (late Sheila) and Mary Mugford; his parents-in-law, Reginald and Hilda Roberts; and his sister-in-law Dorothy Roberts (late Bud).
He is survived by : his wife Rella (Roberts); his child Kelly; his siblings, Gerald (Cora), Francis (late Geraldine), Ted and Margaret McCormack (Tom); his brother-in-law George Mugford (late Mary); his aunt Mollie Fitzpatrick; and his siblings-in-law, Calvin Roberts (late Alma), Bob (Doreen), Clarence (Lisa), Malcolm (late Mona), Ray (Paulette), Olive Payne (Harold), Mona Payne (Curt) and Marilyn Roberts. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
