It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Allister Cecil Heffern of Salvage, Newfoundland, who passed away on May 29, 2025, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Ida Heffern and Wilfred Heffern; his former wife Lily; his sons, Andrew and Allister; and his brothers, Pearce, Heber and Garland.
He is survived by: his wife Marilyn; his children, Kenny (Lisa), Alice (Thomas), Lucy (Harrison), Marie (Gene), Neil (Denise) and Nicole (Dean); and his brother Arthur.
Visitation was held on Monday, June 2nd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Oram's Funeral Home - Eastport (60 Church St, Eastport, NL A0G1Z0). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, June 3rd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the St. Stephen's Anglican Church (188 Main St S, Glovertown, NL A0G2L0).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or charity of one's choice.
