Lily May Hunter Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lily May Hunter in Salvage, Newfoundland, who passed away on June 2, 2020, at the age of 106, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Gilbert Heffern and Mary Jane Heffern; her husband Thomas; her children, Rex and Anita Chipman; her granddaughter Sandy Curtis; her son-in-law Reg Hardy; and her siblings, Lizzie, Fred, Eliol, Mamie and Barbara.
She is survived by: her granddaughter Leslie; her daughter Sandra Hardy; her grandchildren, Helen (Jim), Peter (Bev), Derek, Sylvia (Kirk), Frances (John) and Stewart (Natasha); her daughter-in-law Dorothy Hunter; her grandson-in-law Ed Curtis; her sister-in-law Evelyn Heffern; and her son-in-law Lloyd Chipman (Verna). She is also survived by many cousins, nieces, nephews, extended family and dear friends.
Due to the COVID -19 pandemic a memorial service and burial will take place in Salvage at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Lily's memory to the St. Stephen's Church Memorial Fund Salvage, A0G 3X0.
