She was predeceased by: her husband Victor; her parents, William Mercer and Violet Mercer (Bradbury); and her daughter Kelly. She is survived by: her significant other Selby Lynch; her children, Alvin (Irene), Derek, Carl (Elaine), Paul, Eldon (Kelly), Wendy (Craig), Billy (Wanice), Darren and Stephen (Corrine); her stepchildren, Selby (Claudine) and Rosalind (Anthony); her siblings, Allan, Barbara (Calvin), Rosalind (Walter), Sandra, Wayne and Evelyn; her close friends, Violet and Abby; her son-in-law Buck; her granddaughter Vicki; her great grandchildren, Nicholas and Robert; her siblings, Calvin, Heber and Billy; and her siblings-in-law, Nathan, Irene and Daphne.

A funeral service was held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the St. Mark's Anglican Church & Cemetery.
