In loving memory of Sharon Mercer of Shearstown, Newfoundland, who departed this world on April 25, 2024 at the age of 69. Sharon leaves behind a legacy remembered by family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her son Raymond; her parents, Thomas Rose and Marion Rose (Russell); her parents-in-law, John and Penelope Mercer (Duncan); and her siblings-in-law, James Mercer, Brenda King (Michael) and Elizabeth Vokey The (Wayne).

She is survived by : her husband Raymond; her children, Sonya Martin (Darryl) and Clinton Mercer (Darlene); her grandchildren, Daniel, Dylan, Nolan, Brooklyn and Adele; her siblings, Kevin Rose (Sylvia), Carolyn Noseworthy (Bruce), Rodney Rose (Gertie), Dennis Rose (Doreen) and Lorie Hall (Randy); and her siblings-in-law, Thomas Mercer (Glenys) and Ralph Mercer (Michelle). She is also survived by nieces, nephews, family and friends.

Visitation was held on Monday, April 29th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Slade's Funeral Home (31 Powell Dr, Carbonear, NL A1Y1A5). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, April 30th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the St. Mark's Anglican Church.

In lieu of flowers, as expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to the Sharon Mercer Memorial Fund.
