He was predeceased by: his siblings, Ernest, Mildred (Josh) and Gilbert (Fern); and his granddaughter Rebecca. He is survived by: his wife Effie; his children, Owen (Marlene), Rex (Lorraine), Bert (Rose), Sherrie (Sam), Tammy (Russ) and Gladys (Dana); and his brother-in-law Wallace Hutchings (Lil).
