It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Florence Eileen Roberta Stanley of Shoal Harbour, Newfoundland, who passed away on June 18, 2025, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Joshua Short and Mildred Short; her husband Merlin; her brother Ashton; and her sisters-in-law, Anita Short and Bridgett Short.
She is survived by: her children, Lisa (Ivan Walters) and Scott Stanley; her grandchildren, Jasmine (Nathan), Hayley, Alexander and Donna Joanne; her siblings, Rodney Short (Collette), Douglas Short (Cynthia), Joan (late Owen Jacobs), Wayne Short (Katie), Diane (Gary Dwyer) and Lloyd Short (Gloria); and her sister-in-law Donna Short.
