He is survived by: his siblings, Rose (Roy), Mans (Rosalind) and Don (Jessie); his children, Judy Soper (Freeman) and Dave Oldford (Cavelle); his grandchildren, Kristin, Natalie (Warren), Sonya (Mitch) and Todd (Vanessa); his great grandchildren, Savanna and Madalyn; his wife Penny; his stepsons, John (Christine) and Allen (Kathyrn); and his grandchildren, Alex, Nathan, Gabe, Aimee, Albert, Allister and Agnes.
Visitation was held on Monday, September 7th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM. A celebration of life was held on Tuesday, September 8th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Islandview Salvation Army Citadel. The inurnment was held on Tuesday, September 8th 2026 at the United Church Cemetery (7 Cove Rd, Bunyan's Cove, NL A0C1E0).
