Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Leander John Martin of Shoe Cove, Newfoundland, who passed away at the age of 83, on April 7, 2022. He was predeceased by : his parents, Leander Martin and Sarah Martin; his parents-in-law, Hubert and Doris Osmond; his son-in-law John Hoddinott; his siblings, Edgar Martin (Phyllis), Cora Randell (Arthur) and Elsie Randell (Kenneth); and his brothers-in-law, Llewelyn Osmond and John Brett.

He is survived by : his wife Evelyn Martin; his children, Norma (Scott), David (Gloria), Juanita, Brian (Pansy), Kevin (Amanda), Jerry, Richard (Rhonda) and Nancy (Eddy); his cousin Junior Martin (Christine); his close friends, Les and Vicky Canning; and also Evelyn. He is also survived by his 16 Grandchildren, 13 Great Grandchildren, and a large number of nephews and nieces and extend family and friends.
