He was predeceased by: his parents, Elias Pittman and Sarah Pittman; his siblings, Raymond Pittman (Bernice), Howard Pittman (Dulcie), Edith Collins (Gordon), Mary Hamlyn (Chesley) and Gertie Foster; and his brother-in-law Edward Fowler.
He is survived by: his sisters, Annie Devlin (Charles) and Barbara Fowler; and his niece Phyllis Curl (John). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Parkinson Society Newfoundland and Labrador.
