Alva Ricketts Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Alva Ricketts (Sops ARM, Newfoundland), who passed away on May 3, 2021. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her father Hubert Ricketts; her sister Neta; her father-in-law Clarence Gillingham; and her brother-in-law Warrick. She is survived by : her husband Stewart Gillingham; her daughter April; her mother Marie; her siblings, Marion (Brent) of Ontario, Ken (Roz) of Deer Lake, Joan (Arnold) of Ontario, Wallace (Susan) of Ontario and Joe (Rita) of Ontario; and her mother-in-law Jemina. She is also survived by numerous loving nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Visitation and the funeral to a maximum of 50 people in compliance with Covid-19 Government restrictions (facemask and physical distancing required).

As expressions of sympathy a donation may be made in trust to Alva's daughter April.
