With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Blanche M. Dray of South East Bight, Newfoundland, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. She was predeceased by: her husband William "Willie Jim" Dray; her daughter Diane Norman; her parents, Samuel Whyte and Alice Whyte; and her sisters, Clara Duffy and Gladys Whyte.
She is survived by: her children, Garry (Michelle), Glenda (Sean McKenna), Barbara, Marcella and Perry; her grandchildren, Kyle Dray and Tate Norman (Wesley); her son-in-law Frank Norman; and her siblings, Sam Whyte (Patricia), Hannah Power (late Willie) and Stella Ryan (late Dermot).
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Caul's Funeral Home (84 Lemarchant Rd, St. John's, NL A1C2G8). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Caul's Chapel (84 Lemarchant Rd, St. John's, NL A1C2G8).
As expressions of sympathy, flowers are gracefully accepted, or a heartfelt donation may be made in memory of our mother to the Alzheimer's Society, Newfoundland and Labrador Chapter, for dementia research and to help support those affected by dementia.
