She was loved and cherished by many people including: her daughter Marie Barrett (Randell); her granddaughters, Jill Barrett (Bradley Wheaton) and Amy Barrett (Mark Hickey); her sister Rita Lewis; her siblings-in-law, Pricilla McDonald, Olive McDonald, Claudette McDonald, Margarite Whalen (Patrick) and Eileen Doyle; her husband Philip Fitzgerald; her parents, Ignatius McDonald and Agnes McDonald; her siblings, Mary Ann Hillier (Wally), Samuel McDonald, Thomas McDonald, Patrick McDonald and Gregory McDonald; her parents-in-law, Jack and Elizabeth Fitzgerald; and her brothers-in-law, Kevin Lewis, John Fitzgerald, William Fitzgerald (Katherine) and Michael Doyle. She was also cherished by nieces, nephews, family & friends.

In lieu of flowers, as expressions of sympathy, donations may be made in her loving memory to a charity of one's choice.
