He was predeceased by: his parents, Douglas Barrett and Gwendolyn Barrett; his sister Angela Marie Barrett; his grandparents, Sgt. David, Mary Barrett, William and Naomi Coombs; and his cousin Amanda Rees (Donald Snow).
He is survived by: his cousin Michael Rees; his aunts and uncles, Clayton Coombs, Flora Bradbury, Marina and Kevin Coombs; and his cousins, Blair, Shawn Bradbury and Amy Coombs.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, December 13th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Church of the Good Samaritan (10 St Clare Ave, St. John's, NL A1C6N4). The inurnment will be held on Saturday, December 13th 2025 at the Maul Tree Hill Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the David William Douglas Barrett memorial Fund.
