With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Gladys Clarke of Spaniards Bay, Newfoundland, who passed away on September 3, 2023 at the age of 84. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Gladys Clarke to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by : her parents, William and Katie; her sisters, Julia and Susie; and her husband Hedley.

She is survived by : her siblings, George (Gladys), Moses (Cathy), Violet (John) and Mary (Don); her children, Hedley Jr. (Marjorie-Marlene), Beverley (Barry), Philip (Charlotte) and Keith (Kelly); her grandchildren, Katie, David, Tara, Ashley, Shane, Kathleen and Holly; and her great grandchildren, Ayva, Parker and Paxton.

Visitation was held on Friday, September 8th 2023 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM and on Saturday, September 9th 2023 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM. A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 9th 2023 at 2:00 PM at the Holy Redeemer Church. A burial was held on Saturday, September 9th 2023 at the Maul Tree Hill Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family invites those that are able, to donate to Holy Redeemer Anglican Church in Gladys' name.
