He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Diane; his daughters, Samantha Sheppard (Jamie), Kayla Whalen and Kandace Whalen (Adam Mercer); his stepson Kristopher Humphries (Cassandra); his grandchildren, Avery, Adalee, Callum, Madelyn, Ophelia and Lyria; his siblings, John Whalen (Cheryl) and Donna Ryan (Paul); his parents, James Whalen and Annie Whalen; his parents-in-law, Walter Humphries and Triffie Humphries; and his siblings, Geraldine Porter, Reginald Whale, Kevin Whalen, Shannon Whalen and Philip Whalen.
