He was predeceased by: his parents, Nathaniel Mercer and Hettie Mercer. He is survived by: his wife Marjorie; his children, Sharon Paula (Charles), Kevin (Sharon Rose) and Lesa (Eddie); his grandchildren, Jessica, Alisha (James), Devin (Samantha), Jonathan and Nicholas; his great grandchildren, Oaklynn, Presley and Roman; his siblings, Lincoln and Frances (Gary); his siblings-in-law, George, Clyde, Eric (Rhoda), Maisie, Clara (Rendell) and Dorothy (Kevin); his sister Valerie; his parents-in-law, Eric and Dorothy Smith; and his brothers-in-law, Harold, Victor (Margaret) and Wilbur.
