Rosalind Menchions Obituary

We bid farewell to Rosalind Menchions (Spaniards Bay, Newfoundland), whose journey of life gracefully concluded on April 29, 2025 at the age of 78. Rosalind touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her sons, Roger (Lori) and Shawn (Lynn); her grandson Alexander; her sister Glennis (Harold Akerman); her nieces, Charlotte (Marvin) and Jennifer (Jeffrey); her great-nephews, Nathan, Daniel and Sam; her siblings-in-law, Gordon (Effie), Albert and Betty (Herman); her close friends, Phyllis Hiscock, Don and Mary Hutchings; her husband Ronald; her parents, Charles Barrett and Ida Barrett; her parents-in-law, Ronald and Alice Maude Menchions; her great-nephew William Gosse; and her siblings-in-law, Duncan (Phoebe), Garfield (Jackie), Louise and Dorothy.

A funeral service was held on Monday, May 5th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Holy Redeemer Anglican Church.

In lieu of flowers, as expressions of sympathy, donations may be made in her loving memory to Holy Redeemer Anglican Church of Spaniards Bay.
