He was predeceased by : his parents, Edgar Jane and Eliza Jane; his siblings, Edgar and Emily; and his father-in-law William Hunter The.

He is survived by : his wife Irene; his sons, Stephen (Cindy) and David (Tara); his grandchildren, Matthew, Mitchell, Cassondra and Nicholas; his great grandchildren, Madelyn and Quinn; his mother-in-law Ida Clarke (Hunter); and his brother Everett. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives & friends.

In lieu of flowers, as expressions of sympathy, donations may be made in his loving memory to the Heart & Stroke Foundation.
