She was predeceased by: her husband Albert Rice; her parents, Dorothy Fitzgerald (Furey) and Bertrum Elliott; her parents-in-law, Winnifred and Cyril Rice; her sister Clare Fitzgerald; and her siblings-in-law, Ernest Rice (Carmel), Wilfred Rice, Gordon Rice, Pleman Rice, Edmund Banks and Anita Rice (Sidney).
She is survived by: her children, Dorothy Furey (Brian Hurley), Patricia Rice (Robert Gillingham), Nancy Keats (Brian), Bert Rice (Claudia Ford) and Eric Sheppard; her grandchildren, Alicia Hayward (Ryan), Lacey Hurley (Preston), Cheryl Gillingham, Robyn Gillingham (Adam), Dion Gillingham, Jessica Keats, Erica Keats (Justin), Courtney Sheppard and Eric Jr. Sheppard; her great grandchildren, Van, Sadie, Nathan, Autumn, Whyatt, Brooklyn, Paisley, Keegan, Addelyn, Rebecca, Dawson and Zayden; her sibling Auguste Fitzgerald; her siblings-in-law, Joan Banks, Bart Rice (Linda) and Laura; and her close friend Randy Colbourne.
