He was predeceased by: his wife Beatrice; his grandson Chad Coombs; and his parents, Elizabeth Coombs and Abraham Coombs. He is survived by: his children, Wayne (Adelaide) of Marystown, NL, Doreen (Ivan Skinner), Sandra (Andy Taylor) of Corner Brook, NL, Brenda (Pat Organ), David (Valerie) and Mervin (Sonya) of Cambridge, ON.; his grandchildren, Mark, Kelly, Tracy, Adam, Bailey, Luke, Michael, Nicolas and Morgan; his great grandchildren, Carter, Kyle, Kara and Wyatt; his siblings, Freeman Coombs, Helen Coombs, Charlie Coombs and Hubert Coombs; and his daughter Beatrice.
